Ragveil is also fairly common, but only found in Zangarmarsh. If you need to farm this, the best route to take is to divide Zangarmarsh into three sections, east, west, and middle. There is hardly any Ragveil in the middle section, so it's best to take a route that allows you to cover all of the eastern and western sections of the zone.

Terocone, like Ragveil, is common but only present in Terokkar Forest and the forests in Shadowmoon Valley. There is no Terocone present in the Bone Waste, so do not search that area. The best route to take is to circle the Bone Wastes and then search the northern part of the zone. You can also just fly over the two forests in Shadowmoon Valley and farm Terocone while also looking for Nightmare Vine.

Nightmare Vine is only present in Shadowmoon Valley and is slightly uncommon. The best route to take is to fly from the northwestern corner down to the southern tip and then towards the Black Temple. Make sure to search all of the Black Temple, as there are lots of locations for it there. Then fly virtually due west from the temple back to the northwestern corner. If this route becomes unrewarding, then search the inside of the zone. Most of the spawn points for Nightmare Vine are contained around the edges of the zone.

Netherbloom is fairly easy to farm, but can only be farmed in Netherstorm. The easiest route to take is to go around the edges of each island inside Netherstorm. There are 6 islands total that contain Netherbloom. The only one that does not is the small island in the very northwestern corner of the zone.

If you follow these routes for each type of herb, you should have no problem getting multiple stacks per hour, assuming competition is not very high. The Pits, located in the Tamoe Highlands are most easily accessed by travelling down from the Outer Cloister WP and follwing the path until it forks, if you don\'t use MH then i would advise the right track. The Pits can technically drop any item other than torches-annis-uber keys and organs-standard of heroes-tamoe highlands. Some of the better drops are Windforce, High Runes and uniques like Griffons. However, they are mostly run for socketables like 15//15 armours, eth armours for bugging and open socket Berserker Axes etc... Full of pack uniques monsters. Any character will succeed basically.

Countess -
The Countess is located in the 5th level of the Forgotten Tower and is surrounded by dark archers and Ghotsts. She herself is very rarely light immune so Light Sorcs are good/ The Countess can drop Terror Keys (up to three at once) and is TT66 in Hell, she also has her own unique rune drop which can go as high as Ist, and as high as Lo on her normal drop list. She is easy to run and is good for making cash at the start of ladders.

Andariel -
Andariel is loacted in the 4th level of the Catacombs and has a Tc level of TT69. She is well known for her jewelery drops and I get my fair share of charms from her and gems from her minions, Shakos and War Travellers are also not a rare sight. Andariel has a reduction in fire resist so fire sorcs are a good option here, orb sorcs also work well and they rip through most of the minions, my personal favourite however is the light sorc once more.

Act2:

The Summoner -
The Summoner is located down one of the 4 ledges leading off from the Arcane Sanctuary WP, the ledge is chosen at random. Although the summoner rarely drops any actual good items he drops Hate keys (up to 3) and i\'ve had a bunch of rare rings//amulets and an eth armour. The summoner is sometimes cold immune so a Light sorc is a great option here.

Act3:

Travincal -
Travincal is well known for it\'s HRs, gems, gold and rare items. I\'ve also in my time and found a fair few unique amulets//rings 2 of which were soj and 1 was maras. They are however annoying to kill and i would advise running them only if you have a Hammerdin or a good sorc like light with infinity or for immunes.

Mephisto -
Mephisto is a great runner, drops are frequent and she is known for drops such as Zakarum, Shako, War Travellers, Gores, Wizzy and Arachs. Dont miss the council here, there easier then Travincal and they once dropped me homu + occy in one run. Mephisto is located in level 3 of the Durance just beside a river of burning lava and a red portal. Orb sorcs are good here. Watch out for the ball thing wink.gif

Act4:

Chaos Sanctuary -
Diablo himself is not the main part here, it\'s his minions... they have the ability to drop good items such as Dracs and other uniques. I\'ve heard of many Vex\'s etc being dropped although I myself have only found Mal, on Open tongue.gif Diablo himself can drop good items ofc and his GCs can be sold or cubed for 45 lifer skillers. Hammedins and trapsins are best here. Chaos is found along the Flaming River

Act5:

Pindleskin -
Pindle is like an Alvl85 area except Tyreals//Arach and i think one more item (confirmation of this item would be great). Pindleskin can be found through the red portal opened up by Anya, i would do Nili and just tele back to do Pindle. Some good drops from Pindle are Griffons, Crown of Ages and Deaths Fathom. Fire sorcs are good here if you have a good merc.

Frigid -
Frigid has Eldritch and Shenk, both of which are good for random uniques like Dracs, Silks and low set items. There main asset however is the amount of rares they drop. Most characters can run Frigid but Eldritch and his minions are cold immune.

Nilithak -
Nilithak is down one of the 4 sprouts of the Halls of Vaught, accessed through the Halls of Pain, tele back from here to the Halls of Anguish to do Pindleskin. Nili can drop Destruction keys but be careful as his corpse explosion is violent. Just aim for him and kill him before he kills you, with natures peace you should be ok. His GCs are also good for cubing to get 45 lifers. Hammys are good for the easy tele on and kill, my Tal Light Sorc can run him though.

Baal -
Baal is amazing, any item can drop from Baal except the same as the Pits. Getting to him is easy, simply tele to the Throne of Destruction and kill his minions, he\'ll disspear. Follow him. The experience is good, just make sure you can kill them.

1. Build it:

Before you start building your army, let’s focus on where.

You need barracks to build your troops. I advise having 12, but 10 will do fine. Get them all up to level 4 and 1 to lvl9 ASAP, and then when you can, get them all up to lvl9. The more barracks you have, the faster they train, just remember to check the ‘share production’ checkbox in the bottom left of your troop training window. When you’re training your army, make use of the ‘attack hero’ feature which cuts the training time depending on the attack attribute of your mayor, remember to switch back as the hero doesn’t have to stay as the mayor throughout the training.

Your basic army for raiding should consist of workers, warriors and archers. 2k workers minimum in each attack (4k preferred for optimal plunder) and a archer:warrior ratio of 80:20. You should be building archers immediately when you being, and once you hit bp’s end, you should have plenty of them and a meat shield of warriors.

Note: it’s better to train 4k archers in 4 slots of 1k, than 1 slot of 4k!

1. Support it

You have to be able to support your army, always. If you keep them on the move when you’re online then they should pay for themselves and some, but at night they’re camped and should (if you have a good army) result in a (-) production of food. If you farm npcs enough (see 5.) then food should not be a problem.

1. Use it

Countless times I see people attacking with 10k cavalry and getting crushed. Having strong units does not mean everything, the basic rules is, archers > the rest. Here are a few tips for combat:

Every unit ranged attacks;

This is a great tactic (ranged). If you hit 20k warriors you can kill them all without losses with a smaller force of archers. You simply take your archers, your meat shield and 1 of every other combat unit and attack. The opponent if forced to stop to kill each type of unit, giving your archers about 7 extra rounds to pound arrows into the chest of the enemy’s troops.

Waves;

Waves are very useful, they come in two main forms – plunder waves and trap waves.

The purpose of plunder waves is to optimize your plunder rates. You simply send in your attacking force to wipe out the defences, and then have a wave of transports, cavalry and workers hit straight after. Remember to time it right!

Trap waves work differently. If you find a city with 4k traps and rolling logs, you don’t want your archers to get killed. So, you send in a wave of warriors (or scouts) to take out the traps, logs and rockfalls. Then send in your main army to wipe the defences.

Medal hunting with scouts;

Scouts are cheap and fast. If you gather an army of them you can hit low level valleys for rose medals.

1. Regenerate it

When your troops die, you can cure a certain amount of them in exchange for a sum of shiny gold. Simply go to your rally point, select the medic camp tab and click cure. There ya go J

1. Raiding npcs

Raiding npcs is vital, they give you huge amounts of food and gold. If you send the right amount of ballistas and transports, you can completely clean an npc out with no losses! The most up-to-date table I could get is this, but patches may have changed details.

Level 1: 10 Ballista (archery 7)

Level 2: 36 Ballista (archery 7)

Level 3: 150 Ballista (archery 6)

Level 4: 200 Ballista (archery 6)

Level 5: 400 Ballista

Level 6: 600 Ballista (archery 10)

Level 7: 1000 Ballista

Level 8: 2400 Ballista

1. Know it’s limits

Every army has limits, and every army is mincemeat if the opponent as superior technology. I get people with lvl 5 archery hitting me with 10k archers, my 5k archers wipe them out simply because I have lvl9 archery. I can’t tell you your army’s limits, but take the time to work it out!

1. Military techs

Military technologies are any techs which effect your army;

* Metal casting
* Informatics
* Military tradition
* Military science
* Iron working
* Logistics
* Compass
* Horseback riding
* Archery
* Medicine

Metal casting: enhances the speed of mechanics training by 10% per level, such as ballistas and catapults

Informatics: each level here increased the value of your scout reports

Military tradition: each level raises your attack by 5%

Military science: tops your troop training speed by 10% per level

Iron working: each level raises your defence by 5%

Logistics: increases your army’s load each level

Compass: each level speeds up your infantry by 10%

Horseback Riding: increases mechanics and cavalry speed by 5% each level

Archery: 5% more range for every level

Medicine: 5% more life for your army per level

1. Fortifications:

Your fortifications are immobile defences situated on or around your walls, they are always activated and fight even if you close your gates; in this section I will give you a few ideas of what they do, and then explain why they are completely useless to any strong Evony player.

Traps: the only time you should ever build these is if you have NO other defence and want to shift your resources to save them being plundered or you can build them in mass. They affect any infantry but nothing else. Any half experienced player will send a wave of warriors before their main army anyway to activate these and save their archers.

Abatis: these are basically your last defence against city capturers. As long as you’re not inactive for too long, the enemy will have to send cavalry to lower your loyalty due to their speed. These will wipe them out and cavalry are expensive!

Archer Towers: they are the only fortification I advise having, and even then, only if you have a large army as well. Unless you meet the requirements all that towers do are make you a big target for honour hunters like me!

Rolling Logs: don’t get them. Simple.

Defensive Trebuchets: again, no point getting these.

1. Scouting

You should always scout before you attack!

Scouts are cheap and fast to build, they’re also very fast movers. I usually have about 10k scouts per city or more, this means that you almost always win scout battles.

Scout battles are when you a player scouts a city and the two sets of scouts clash, whoever has more scouts wins, regardless of technologies.

Tip; if you’re attacking a city more than 10 minutes away, scout it a few times during the march, this should prevent you from being surprised by newly arriving troops and fortifications.

General Tips

Fire in Short Bursts

It’s as simple as this. If you keep your finger on the fire trigger…you’re going to die. Burst fire is by far the most effective firing method in call of duty 4. Short bursts are so effective because in most cases only a few bullets are need to stop your enemy and anything more then a short burst will decrease your shot accuracy

Flanking

Flanking, we’ve found, is the most under used AND most effective method for acquiring multiple quick kills in Call of Duty 4. Flanking is the method of making your way BEHIND your enemy (preferably while they’re in a fire fight with your team mates) so that you are positioned for an easy kill (or hopefully kills). Flanking is not always possible. There are a lot of positions on most maps were getting behind your enemy is impossible. But it usually doesn’t take long for the enemy to advance enough or move locations so that Flanking again becomes a viable strategy.

Use the Knife when in close range

If you are close enough to hit your enemy with the knife…DO IT! Even up against an enemy with a gun, knifes will almost always be more effective. The reason? It only takes ONE swipe with a knife to kill your enemy, were as it’ll usually take a few bullets to take them down.

Crouch

Crouching while moving is the most effective means of getting around the map. While crouching you’re fire is more accurate. To take advantage of this even more, try keeping your sites up while crouching and moving. Any enemy who comes running by will be easy pickins if you are crouched and sited. EXCEPTION: anytime you are in an open space with your back exposed to multiple locations…RUN. Run to a location where you can, 1. Take cover behind an object and crouch shoot or 2. Run to an area where your back is not exposed and you can crouch walk with your sites up.

Take Cover

When you’re taking fire, find the closest cover and crouch behind it. Be careful taking cover behind cars (It they haven’t already, they’ll explode when shot). Be careful taking cover behind objects that bullets can penetrate (crates, fences, clay walls, etc). Once the enemy has stopped firing, quickly take a look and return fire if possible. If you are being shot at by more than one enemy and want to get out from behind your cover to move to a more advantageous location, use a flashbang grenade.

Keep Moving

When you are not behind cover…you better be in motion. Standing out in the open is dumb, plain and simple. If you need to come out behind cover, make sure you know were you are going and if there is cover to hide behind when you get there. Using the crouch method described above when going from cover point to cover point is the best method for staying alive and achieving radar (3kills in a row without dying), airstrike (5 kills without dying) and Helicopter (7 kills without dying). The only time running is recommended is when the match first starts up and you are trying to get to a location that will give you a tactical advantage, (see map by map section), if you’re in an open area, or if you know an enemy is near and you are trying to make it into a building or behind a solid object

Workspaces are a great concept, because users can save multiple workspaces to reduce the time that users need to create comfortable working environments. AutoCAD is installed with default workspaces, and you have the ability to create your own workspace as well. The default workspaces are 3D Modeling, 2D Drafting & Annotation, and AutoCAD Classic.

Four ways to change your current UI to AutoCAD classic:

1) Go to your Pull-Down Menu> Tools > Workspaces >AutoCAD Classic.

2) On the Workspace Switching status bar (locate at lower right hand side), click Workspace > Switching > AutoCAD Classic.

3) Enter WSCURRENT command, and then enter “AutoCAD Classic” when prompted to specify a workspace. With this method, you have to enter exactly “AutoCAD Classic” as your worksapce. This method won't work, if you don't know the exact name for your workspaces.

4) Enter CUI command, and a Customize User Interface widow will pop up. Right mouse click under ACAD>(you need to unfold to see all the available workspaces) AutoCAD Classic>Set Current, and don't forget to click APPLY. A visually more complex way to get to your AutoCAD Classic UI.

You should make two or more boot disks and place them in a safe

place away from any type of magnetic or static charges.Before

When a website is blacklisted by a Firewall, anyone using the network will not be able to access the website. And this is what is happening to school and company networks. This time round, it is the students and employees who are becoming annoyed. The Firewall stops them from connecting with their family and friends on Facebook.

Then someone came up with the idea of proxies. A proxy means that a website is accessed through another server. In other words, instead of making a direct request to Facebook, a request is first sent to a proxy server. The proxy server then send the request to Facebook, and retrieves the response. This response is then sent back to the workstation. To the Firewall, the user appears to be accessing the proxy server, which is not blocked. But in reality, this is just a workaround to allow access to Facebook. But what happens if the proxy server also gets blocked?

Firstly, this is highly unlikely, because a proxy server behaves just like an ordinary server. It is very difficult for a Firewall to detect a proxy server. Secondly, even if a proxy server is blocked, the user can always connect to another proxy server that is not blocked. And since there are literally thousands of proxy servers available on the Internet, it is almost impossible for Firewalls to block all of them.

They never tell you of any failures of such ERP projects, and there seems to be no attention paid to lessons learnt from the famous FoxMeyer Corporation scenario, which lead to its bankruptcy and the lengthy legal battles in the courtrooms with their consultants thereafter. “My basic principle is that you don’t make decisions because they are easy, you don’t make them because they are cheap, you don’t make them because they are popular but you make them because they are right”- Theordore Hesburgh.

If not properly planned for, the investment may drive you out of business. The epicenter for the problems that rock the corporate world as far as ERP or in general IT project failure is concerned has remained the same over the years.

The following examples are typical of the projects that failed from statistics available from The Standish group CHAOS database

· The Hershey foods ERP system implementation failure lead to massive distribution problems and loss of 27% market

· The FoxMeyer drug ERP system implementation failure lead to the collapse of the entire company

· The IRS project on taxpayer compliance took over a decade to complete and cost the country unanticipated $50 billion

· The Oregon Department of Motor Vehicle conversion to new software took eight years to complete and public outcry eventually killed the entire project

· State of Florida welfare system was plagued with numerous computational errors and $260 million in overpayments

· AMR Corp, Budget Rent A Car, Hiltons Corporation, Marriott “ confirm” project crumbled having spend over $125 million over four years

· Snap-On Inc project to convert to a new order-entry costed the tools company $50 million in lost sales for the first half of 1998

· Greyhound Lines Inc. “Trips” reservation and bus-dispatch system” failed having spent $6 million

· Norfolk Southern Corp. “Systems integration with merger target Consolidated Rail Corp”. failed having lost more than $113 million in business

· Oxford Health Plans Inc. “New billing and claims-processing system based on Unix International and Oracle Corp. databases” resulted in hordes of doctors and patients angry about payment delays and errors.

· Universal Oil Products Project “ Software for estimating project costs and figuring engineering specifications” resulted in unusable systems

IT projects regularly fall short – and quite few are abandoned entirely. Many IT failures have to do with perceptions and expectations rather than absolute bankruptcy of purpose. Most of the so called failures are better classified as “discouraging successes” events wherein the major purpose is accomplished, but not without a good deal of frustration and inefficiency – and a sour taste in the mouth of many users.

Project risks

The FoxMeyer Corporation Delta III project had the following project risks

i) Environmental- the management had little or no control. They depended 100% on consultants and vendors who obscured them from gaining control. The focus of the project dramatically changed prompting the projects costs to escalate

ii) Execution- the project lacked skilled and knowledgeable personnel. FoxMeyer did not have the necessary skills in-house and was relying on Andersen consulting to implement SAP R/3 and integrate it with an automated warehouse system from Pinnacle. Over 50 consultants were inexperienced and their turnover was high.

iii) Scope- FoxMeyer was an early adopter of SAP R/3. After the project began, FoxMeyer signed a large contract to supply university health system consortium (UHC). This event exacerbated the need for the unprecedented volume of transactions on their HP servers which they could not cope

iv) Customer mandate – the commitment from the top management and users. This was not the case for some of the senior management. There was a morale problem among some of its warehouse workers. The pinnacle warehouse automation integrated with SAP R/3 threatened their jobs. With the closing of the three warehouses, the transition to the first automated warehouse was a disaster. Disgruntled workers damaged inventory, and orders were not filled, and mistakes occurred as the new system struggled with volumes of transactions

Project Factors

Factors that attribute to escalation of costs include but not restricted to

a) Project factors- there was a perception that continued investment could produce a large payoff. FoxMeyer expected a saving of $40 million annually.

b) Psychological factors- the consultants had prior history of success that encouraged them to continue the project. “we delivered an effective system, just as we have for thousands of other clients” (Computergram international 1998). This created the impression that the project would radically improve the company’s critical operations. FoxMeyer bit more that what it could chew but embarking on a fast track project with unskilled staff.

c) Social factors- the consulting company did not externally justify the project. De-escalating the project through abandonment would have meant bad publicity

d) Organization factors-The advocates for the project later were forced to resign because of the delays in realizing the projected savings. A change in management was needed in order to control the increasing costs – which was too late.

Recipe for failure

· When the management is not controlling the scope of the project especially when you expect the consultant to provide a magic bullet, is a recipe for failure.

· Changing the sails in midstream, by certain deliverables expected within a third of the documented times and volumes is a recipe for failure.

· By engaging in other corporate projects competing for the meager finances midway, is a recipe for failure

· By not having proper change management policies and procedures, is a recipe for failure

· By going for consultants without prior experience or ERP solutions in which you are the only company within your industry, could be a recipe for failure

· If you do not have a knowledge transfer inscribed in the consulting contract, is a recipe for failure

· If the vendor does not understand your business, is a recipe for failure

· If the project has no clear phases, deliverables and quality control components, is a recipe for failure

· If you have not re-engineered your business processes to be compatible with the capabilities of the technology, is a recipe for failure

· Having multiple vendors within the one project, is a recipe for failure

· Not having an external project audit committee, is a recipe for failure

· Not having a clear end-user training program to transfer skills to employees, is a recipe for failure

· Having the project run as a “one-man show”, is a recipe for failure

· Having the management over- committed (excessively ambitious, prompting unrealistic deadlines), is recipe for failure

· Team member not being accountable for actions, is recipe for failure

· Low morale within team, is recipe for failure

· Unclear statement of requirement, is a recipe for failure

· In no standard implementation methodology use, is a recipe for failure

· Inadequate requirements definition (current processes are not adequately

addressed), is a recipe for failure

· Poor ERP package selection (the package does not address the basic

business functions of the client), is a recipe for failure

· Inadequate resources employed by the client, is a recipe for failure

· Internal resistance to changing the 'old' processes, is a recipe for failure

· A poor fit between the software and users procedures, is a recipe for failure

· A bottom up approach is employed (the process is not viewed as a top

management priority), is a recipe for failure

· The client does not properly address and plan for the expenses involved, is a recipe for failure

· If any functional gaps have not been identified (GAP analysis), is a recipe for failure

· If the implementation does not take into account future technological convergence, is a recipe for failure

Conclusion

The lessons learnt from the failed ERP projects should be a wake-up call for corporations currently in ERP projects or contemplating to go that way. The lessons learnt can as well, serve as a harbinger for failure or bankruptcy by serving as the jetty for launching the rocket to propel you out of the business orbit. The experiences highlighted provide a litmus test on how to avoid ERP failure. There is one final aspect to be considered in any degree of project failure. All success is rooted in either luck or failure. If you begin with luck, you learn nothing but arrogance. However, if you begin with failure and learn to evaluate it, you also learn to succeed. Failure begets knowledge. Out of knowledge you gain wisdom, and it is with wisdom that you can become truly successful.

I will begin by explaining various aspects about image resizing: how it works, what the important problems are, who would be interested in this. I’ll continue by comparing several existing methods. Finally I’ll conclude with the best method to use.

How does enlarging work?

Upsizing an image increases its resolution (size in pixels/points). To do this, information from the original image is used to create the enlarged version. Imagine a grid of pixels in a plane. In the original image they are all side by side. Enlarging the image means enlarging the grid. The more you stretch it, the more separated the pixels become. Those pixels in-between need to be filled-in. This is called interpolation. There can be other steps after interpolation.

Problems that need to be solved by upsizing

One of the problems that appear is that for small images pixels on the edges may be aliased. This becomes more apparent when enlarging. This is the jagged edges problem that many upsizing methods try to overcome. In one extreme you have edges that are sharp but jagged in another smooth but blurry. A compromise between smoothing an edge and keeping it sharp is searched for. Over-smoothing to maintain sharpness is not that hard to obtain but this creates an unrealistic look to images. Another problem is loss of detailed texture in the upsized image. The only method that even considers this is reshading.

When is upsizing an image useful?

Increasing the size by 200% means transforming a 3 megapixel (MP) image into a 12 MP one. If something like this can be created without losing quality then using an average camera and upsizing it would be almost the same as using a professional camera. Also, cropping and enlarging a portion of an image would be equivalent to having a better zoom lens on your camera. Of course, taking the photo with a professional camera and upsizing it would make very large prints easy.

Well known methods for enlarging an image

I’ll present a few widely known approaches. Some are commercially available: Photoshop, Genuine fractals, Photo zoom and others are free: Reshade.

Photoshop

Although everybody considers Photoshop as The tool of choice for any image manipulation, its features cover only some basic needs in this field. It is mainly designed to be a framework for image processing by allowing the inclusion of plug-ins that can easily interoperate. Because of this, even experienced Photoshop users have a hard time when upsizing images. The default algorithms for this purpose are made to be fast but not very powerful.

Best methods for upsizing images

These methods go further in their search for better quality upsizing. They are designed to allow greater enlargement factors without serious degradation in image quality.

Reshade

This is the newest method from the ones I mentioned. It permits enlargements of up to 200% without losing any quality. This means that even an experienced photographer would have a hard time picking an enlarged version from an original photo. Beyond this zoom factor, the images look a little over-processed. Even at higher zoom ratios reshade seams to work better on most images than any of the other techniques. From my point of view it's the best choice. I wouldn’t need greater zooming anyway because the degradation becomes visible with any possible technique beyond 200% enlargement.

Genuine fractals

This method tries not to overdo the edge sharpening and de-blurring like Photo zoom and maintains the quality of the image pretty good (for zoom factors of about 500%). For smaller zooms the image quality is very similar to what you can get in Photoshop. That means a lot of blurry edges remain after upsizing.

Photo zoom

Although the clarity of the edges is better than for Genuine fractals (at large zoom factors, 400%), there is an obvious smoothing effect that creates the impression that the image has been over-painted. This might be ok if it’s what you’re looking for but for photography, it adds an unrealistic look to the resized images. Although small details when enlarged remain smooth, reshading does a better job at this, also keeping them small.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I do not suggest using enlarging for every photo you take. The original can always look better even if an enlarged version has insignificant quality loss. But, it often happens that you want to crop only a part of a picture and it becomes too small to print or use as desktop wallpaper. Or maybe you don’t have your best camera nearby and use a lower megapixel one. In these situations enlarging becomes the best option available. I recommend reshading your pictures for best quality. 90% of desktop computers are not optimized for energy efficiency. If you optimize your machine, according to Intel, it can save you about 400-kilowatt hours annually.

Optimizing your computer:

Click on "start" menu. Then click on "settings" and then "control panel."

Double click on "power management", under where it says "power schemes," choose "always on" from the drop-down list. Below the "settings for always on power scheme" tab, look for two drop-down lists, labeled "turn off monitor" and "turn off hard disks," respectively.

There are options to select from minutes to hours. set this for 2 minutes or try 15 minutes. Select any according to your needs and requirements.

If you are on Macs. It's more easier to implement these settings. Just go to the Apple pull-down menu, select "system preferences" and then "energy saver." It's all in there.
